Azurescens Flying Saucer magic mushrooms are classified as its own strain of magic mushroom. Most shrooms we carry at 3 Amigo are from from the psilocybin cubensis genus.
Psilocybe azurescens is considerably stronger than most psilocybin cubensis strains I.e golden teachers.
Azurescens was first documented by a group of Boy Scouts camping close to the Colombia River in Oregon in 1979. Years later, the legendary mycologist Paul Stamets formally named the mushroom “Psilocybe azurescens” after Stamets’ Son Azureus.
If hiking in BC, Keep an eye out for Azurescens, as they grow all along the forests of the Pacific North West. Their cap are caramel in colour and shaped like a nipple with serrated type edge and a thick stem. If you see a fresh azzie you’ll immediately know why they are named the flying saucer mushroom.
HOW TO DOSE MAGIC MUSHROOMS:
Recreational dosing, the dose is really up to you. There are some folks that love going on long spiritual journeys where they take 3-10g. For a fun time at a social gathering you can get away with 0.5-1g.
